The law firm of Jones, Key, Melvin & Patton, P.A. is pleased to announce that Jennifer Berger Brown has joined the firm as an associate. Ms. Brown graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in May 2005, and was admitted to practice in North Carolina in August.

Ms. Brown received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Duke University in 1998 and worked for four years as a consultant with Accenture (previously Anderson Consulting) prior to law school.

Brown, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick and Lee Berger, is a native of Franklin. She is married to Robbie Brown, of Hartwell, Georgia, who is a Georgia Tech graduate and Network Manager for Bellsouth in Asheville.

Ms. Brown's law school career included service as Executive Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law, the Women's Law Student Association, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

Ms. Brown's practice will focus primarily on corporate law, transactions, and serving the needs of small business owners.
